If you are preparing to become a parent, or have a child under the age of 18, surely you are also interested in the financial aspect, especially what the state we are citizens of can offer us. The total child allowance from birth up to 18 years is 5040 Euros.
The state allowance is granted if the child holds a Romanian birth certificate and at least one of the parents has Romanian citizenship, and holds an identity card with domicile in Romania.

The allowance file shall contain the following documents:

Romanian birth certificate of the child (original);
Romanian marriage certificate or notarial declaration;
A certificate from CNAS demonstrating that you do not benefit from allowances in the Republic of Moldova;
Romanian parental identity card requesting the allowance;
MD or Romanian partner ID card of the other parent (copy).

The allowance file is submitted to the General Social Assistance Directorate of the Town Hall, in the city, where the parents hold the residence visa.
